Introduction
This is the roll of emigrants who left the United States in late 1832 and arrived in Monrovia on 17 Feb 1833. On this particular ship, Brown Colbert, his wife Mary Colbert and their children were passengers. Brown Colbert was the son of Betty Brown, the sister of Sally Hemings and daughter of Elizabeth Hemings, the matriarch of the Hemings family.
