Cannella Family Mysteries

My cousin, Pio Cannella (aka Peter Cannella born in 1903), disappeared in Bronx, New York around November, 1930. Since that time no one has heard anything from him. Just before he went missing, he was on the Second Avenue elevated train with his brother-in-law, Nicholas Derrico, and Nicholas' son, "Sonny" Derrico. They were on the way northward to Peter's parents (Antonio Cannella and Rachaela Passarella) home approximately 223rd street. Peter got off the train to use the restroom and told Nicholas and Sonny to proceed on. He promised to meet them at his parents' home but he never arrived. While a police report was filed and supposedly a private investigator was hired, nothing resulted from them. Peter was the husband of Villa Marie Testerman of Troutdale, VA. If anyone has any information about Peter please let me know. It would be much appreciated.
