The barque 'Cromwell' sailed from London on 30 March and Plymouth on 11 April 1849; arriving in Port Adelaide on 19 July 1849. State Library of South Australia, Bound for South Australia
The barque Cromwell then sailed to Port Philip on August 26, 1849 arriving there on September 1, 1849. "Passengers to Port Phillip from Southern England & Ireland 1849-51"
