We have formed a company to maintain and preserve the Graefenburg Community Cemetery (located on Crab Orchard Road in Graefenburg, Shelby County, Kentucky) by keeping it mowed and repaired in respect to the families that originally built and have lived in our little community. There are dead trees that need removal, fence needing repair, and stones in need of being reset, repaired and cleaned dating back to 1838. To achieve our goal, we will be depending on the generosity of community churches, individuals, and descendants of those interred. We are a 501 (c) 3 and 509 (a) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible by making a check payable to GCC, LLC , EIN 47-4463447 and mailed to 394 Elmburg Rd, Shelbyville, Kentucky 40065. A donation from you/your company to help us in our endeavor will be greatly appreciated. We are pleased to be able to oversee the care of this cemetery so that the descendants and friends may visit the final resting place of their ancestors in a comfortable setting. The cemetery is no longer active and it has been a few years since the last burial. All known graves have been registered on findagrave.com.

This cemetery is located behind the Graefenburg Methodist Church just across the Colletts Fork of Benson Creek. It is on Crab Orchard Road and can be viewed with Google Maps by putting in the Cross Roads of Graefenburg Road and Crab Orchard Road.
