Solomon Johnson purchased this Bible in 1803 for $8.75. The Bible was printed in 1803 by Mathew Carey of Philadelphia, Pa. A few years later, Solomon purchased a Dictionary of the Whole Bible by John Brown of Haddington Scotland. in the bible it stated that he was married by the Rev. Mr. Findley
