Observations

  • The first baptism of "Samuel" may be a different Joseph as no marriage record is shown for a first wife, Mary.
  • There is another Joseph Wyatt of Weeford who's Christening is 17 Apr 1750 in Weeford, Staffordshire, England, he is the son of a different Joseph and Mary. Which may mean he is a brother to Samuel.[16] That could be the man that died in Weeford.

We also can't overlook the fact that we now have very solid Y-DNA evidence and the two matches family trees (that have been handed down in their families for generations) identifying who I believe to be the correct Joseph.
