Backgrounds
This page is constantly under construction.
It is totally a personal preference, but I think the tinier prints look better as a background for WikiTree profiles. However, I am leaving the larger images so you can better see the pattern which will give you a better idea of what the background will look like when you use it on a WikiTree profile. (The images blow up greatly when used as a background on a WikiTree profile.) You are welcome to use whichever image size you prefer.
To see what a background looks like on a WikiTree profile, you can click on the name under the image and you will be taken to one of my profiles to which the background image is applied.
Most, but not all, the original images for these backgrounds were downloaded from Needpix.com. I alter the images to get the tinier prints using a collage maker at BeFunky.com.
To add a background to one your profiles, click on the image you like. Scroll down on the left to the list of your profiles and select the profile to which you want to apply the background. Click "Save Changes to Image Details" at the bottom. When the page reloads, scroll down on the right to "Set As Background Image," click the box next to the name of your profile, then click "Set Background."
To remove a background from one of your profiles, click on the image file on that profile. Scroll down on the left to "People and Things in the Image." Mark the button "Remove from Page" next to the name of the profile from which you wish to remove the background. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes to Image Details."

Monograms
To see what a monogram looks like on a WikiTree profile, click on the monogram letter in the table which will take you to a page on which is listed all profiles on which that monogram is applied. Click on one of the names under the heading "In this image" and you will be taken to one of the profiles on which the monogram image is applied.
Note: Because of the dimensions of the "thumbnail" profile picture on WikiTree profiles, wider monograms will appear shorter/smaller in the "thumbnail" profile picture space.
Only the monograms in the tables have been uploaded. If I have not uploaded the letter and color you want, send me a private message because I will have it on my hard-drive and can easily upload it to WikiTree for you.
I made these monograms using MonogramMaker.com. I color-match monograms to backgrounds using a Color Picker here.
To add a monogram to one your profiles, click on the image you like. Scroll down on the left to the list of your profiles and select the profile to which you want to apply the background. Click "Save Changes to Image Details" at the bottom. When the page reloads, scroll down on the right to "Set as Primary Photo," click the box next to the name of your profile, then click "Set Primary."
To remove a monogram from one of your profiles, click on the image file on that profile. Scroll down on the left to "People and Things in the Image." Mark the button "Remove from Page" next to the name of the profile from which you wish to remove the monogram. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes to Image Details."
