Richland School Sold for $3,700

DELAVAN ─ Clayton Sloane and Laurel Pinnow bought the old Richland Island School building and site for $3,700 at a public auction recently. The equipment was auctioned off for a total of $222.90. Between 75-100 person attended the auction at the school. The school was recently attached to the Delavan Joint School District No. 1, which held the sale, according to Supt. Charles H. Wileman.
