Will & Probate

His will divided his estate between his three children: William Noland Tigner, Mary Louisa Tigner, and Clark Henry Tigner.^[2]

His property was known as the Mill Brook Plantation. The 1863 return states that the slaves were temporarily absent from the State.^[3]

Currently no record has been found of an inventory naming the slaves. Inventories that have been found for the estate are in 1866 at which point the slaves had been emancipated.
