This page serves to document and further the research of enslaved individuals held by slave owner David Gwin Talbott (1761-1853) of Campbell County, Virginia.
David’s 1850 will[1] does not name the enslaved people, nor does he will them to particular children. All it says is: "The land and Negroes to be laid off in Lotts and impartially be drawn for by them." I have not found a follow-up sale recording.
