This is just me indicating that I'll be transferring all my research to this platform over time.

I have been pretty meticulous in collecting some ancillary information on my mob. It's my belief that the family stories, what they did and the run of their lives should also be included to reflect both themselves as historical characters but also their experiences in life. Much of what I know is pieced together through the records themselves, as well as newspaper articles. I haven't had the luck to come across journals, photos or materials written by themselves personally, which is a shame, really. I do have a few from my dad's family but they are more immediate (relating to my granddad and his family).

No doubt, this will take a fair while considering my writing of an honours thesis and naturally, life gets in the way.

All the same, It will be nice to operate in the same way I do with my work and away from the 'Ancestry model'.
