Weaver Family Mysteries-1

Can't seem to find out why Christopher Weaver, aka Christian Weaver, born around 1800 in Ohio, died 1832 in Ohio used both names. Some information I find is under one or the other names. I can't seem to get any information on who his father was. I know there was a big German connection. But without this information I can't move forward. His son, Cornelius Weaver, (my 2nd grandfather) seems to have been born same year that Christopher (Christian) died. Very unusual. Christopher Weaver's wives were Louisa Keller and Emily Russel.
