Here are open questions about our family. Please edit this text, upload unidentified pictures, add your questions, post fuzzy memories you want to clear up, etc. This was started for my unknowns but as this is a collaborative tree with the (ambitious) aim of connecting everyone, it is open to anyone interested in these families. Who knows we might find a new connection. Weston is a difficult surname as it is shared by so many unrelated people whose ancestors happened to live, at the time surnames were invented, in a village with Weston in its name. There are an awful lot of villages in England that include Weston in their name.

Unknown photographs

I inherited this photograph from my mother. I do not recognise any family likenesses. They may not be related but be a family she stayed with on holiday. I never even noticed the photograph to ask her who they were, when she was alive. A lesson we all learn when it is too late. (JG Weston)

The adult may be Frederick George Weston (1868-1947) but I don't recognise any of the children. The photograph is not very good. Taking a photograph against the light avoids people squinting, but it requires skill to get the exposure right to see any detail.
