In the Name of God Amen
I Bridgett Boddicott of Richmond in the County of Surry
Widow being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect
mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of this
Life make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament
And first I recom[m]end my Soul into the hands of Almighty
God assuredly hoping for the eternall rest and Salvation thereof
thro' the alone merits of my blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and
as touching such worldly Goods as it hath pleased God to
bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth

my Will and desire is that all my debts and the debts of my late
husband and my Funeral charges shall be first paid and
satisfied and all the rest and residue of all my personall
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath
unto my two sons Edmund Boddicott and Richard Boddicott
to be divided equally share and share alike But my Will
and meaning is that my Executors hereinafter named
shall bestow and dispose thereof or so much thereof as they
shall think fitt or the Survivour of them in the Educat[i]on or
promot[i]on of my said two children in the world as they shall
think most fitt for them And I doe nominate and appoint my
loving Brother Richard Grew of Mincing? Lane London
Wine Cooper and Mr William Boddicott of Richmond aforesaid
Draper sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament
In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seal
this fourth day of August Anno D[o]m[ini] 1710 And in the Ninth
year of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lady Queen Ann over
