Thomas Spafford was born on May 11, 1773 in Lebanon, Windham, Connecticut Colony to Nathan Spafard and Anne Cole.

He never married or had any children.

Thomas died on June 1, 1857 in Lebanon at the age of eighty-four^[1]. He is buried at Exeter Cemetery^[2].
