Wilfred Henry SPARGO was born on 14 March 1900 in Fitzroy North, Colony of Victoria^[1]. He was the son of William Poole SPARGO and Matilda MITCHELL.

9 January 1942, Wilfred enlisted in Australian Army, Service Number: V504368. He attained the rank of Sergeant and was discharged on 13 Mar 1946^[2][3].

He passed away on 25 October 1965 in Mornington, Victoria, Australia^[4][5] and his ashes were scattered at the Springvale Botanical Cemetery^[6].
