Biography

Harriet was born in 1807. She was the daughter of Joel Spencer . She passed away in 1867.

Harriet married Diadate Lee November 26, 1823 in East Haddam, Connecticut. They had seven children. Harriet's mother, Anna, died in 1840; Harriet's father, Joel, died in 1858 at the age of 96. In the 1850 Federal Census Harriet and Diadate are listed as living with the widowed Joel Spencer together with their youngest four children. The youngest child, Andrew M, continued to live with his parents. Diodate outlived Harriet by nearly two decades and Andrew M was living with him at the time of the 1880 census.
