MYRTA HALL
Myrta A. Hall passed away on Thursday evening, October 23rd after an illness of over three months. She was the daughter of Jonathan Olin and Lovinna Wilcox Spink and was born in the town of Orangeville, December 11, 1861. She was successful as a teacher having taught school for several years. She was married to David Hall, September 21, 1892 and lived on the Hall homestead until Mr. Hall’s death, two years ago when she and her step-daughter, Miss Carrie Hall bought the house in this village where they were living at the time of their death. The funeral services were held Sunday just four weeks after the burial of Miss Carrie Hall. Rev. MacFarlane officiating. Interment was in Quakertown cemetery.
Mrs. Hall while in Quakertown was an active member of the United Brethern church, joining by letter several years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, Mrs. J. O. Spink, one sister, Mrs. Vesta Weeks, two brothers, Allen and Eugene Spink, two step daughters, Mrs. Bert Cook and Mrs. John Ramsey and one step son, Burton Hall all of Orangeville.

The petition of Anna Ramsey, Maude Cook and Burton Hall of Orangeville for letters of administration upon the estate of their sister, Carrie R. Hall, has been granted in the Surrogate’s Court here. Miss Hall died on September 26, 1919 in this village leaving an estate valued at 50 real and not over ,000 personal property.
The will of Myrta M. Hall, late of this village, has been admitted to probate in the Surrogate’s Court. Mrs. Hall died October 23, 1919 leaving a will dated October 10, 1919. By the terms of the will her brothers, Allen and Eugene Spink of Orangeville are named as executors. The following bequeaths are made by the will: Household goods and wearing apparel to her sister, Mrs. Vesta Weeks; the safe to her step-daughter, Mrs. Maude M. Cook, 0 to the cemetery one-half mile west of Orangeville Center (provided it is incorporated within one years after the deceased’s death) 0 to the Quakertown cemetery in Orangeville, 0 to David Hall, son of Harold Hall when he reached the age of 21, 0 to each of her three step-children, Maude M. Cook, Anna Ramsey and Burton Hall of Orangeville; one-half of the residuary estate to her sister, Mrs. Vesta Weeks and the other half of to be idvided [sic] between her brothers, Allen and Eugene Spink. The only other heir living is a monther [sic], Lovina Spink. The value of the estate is estimated as 00 real and 00 personal property.
