Biography

Ann was born in January 1796 in the Village of Allington, near the Town of Bridport, Dorset, England^[1]. Her parents were William Sprake and Martha (Wakely), who married on the 5 October 1795 at St. Swithin's Parish Church, Allington Parish, Village of Allington, near the Town of Bridport, in Dorset, England^[2].

Baptism

She is baptized on the 17 January 1796 at St. Swithin's Parish Church, Allington Parish, Village of Allington, near the Town of Bridport, in Dorset, England^[3].

Marriage

Thomas (Washer) marries Ann (Sprake) on the 4 July 1822 at St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Church Street, in the Town of Yeovil, Somerset, England^[4].

The 1841 records Thomas as living with his wife Ann (Sprake); their children, George and Sarah; Shoemaker, William (Wilkins) and Mary (Wilkins). By the arrival of the 1851 Census, the children have all moved out and Thomas and Ann (Sprake) are still living at North Street, Village of Allington, along with Ann's mother Martha (Wakely/Sprake)^[6].

By 1861, Thomas and Ann (Sprake) are living with their daughter, Sarah (Sprake/Munden); her husband John (Munden); Sarah and John's children John Thomas, George, Hannah "Anna", William Sprake and Samuel Sprake at North Street, Village of Allington, near the Town of Bridport, Bridport District, Dorset, England^[7].

Death
