Paul Everette Sprinkle was born in Wabash county, Illinois on 21 Dec 1924. He was the son of John Sprinkle and Josie Sketo.[1]
In the 1930 US Census, the Sprinkles were living in Lancaster, Wabash, Illinois, living in a rental house with parents John Louis and Josie and children: Lloyd, Floyd, Dorothy, Ethel, Lee (Robert Lee), Arthur Ray, Paul, Betty Jo, Evelyn and her husband, Emil Highsmith. Father John Louis was a tie cutter in the Timber industry. [2]
In the 1940 Census, the Sprinkle family was iving in Lancaster, Wabash, Illinois in 1940: The family included parents, John and Josie and children: Arthur Ray, Paul, Robert Lee and Betty Jo. John Louis was in a public employment program for the W.P.A. road project. [3]
Paul enlisted in the Navy from 13 Oct 1944 to 1 April 1946.[4]
Paul married Letha Jo ("Letty") Jordan on 1 Nov 1948 in Henderson, Kentucky. Together, they had three children:
Paul's father, John Louis, died in Feb 1957. Son Michael Paul died 23 Mar 1957 at age 5. Paul's mother Josie, died in Jan 1962.
Paul died 3 Feb 1983 in Evansville, Vanderburgh, Indiana. [1] He was buried in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Carmel, Wabash, IL.[5]
