Biography
When Allene Sprouse was born on June 25, 1903, in Laurens, South Carolina, her father, Benjamin, was 42, and her mother, Emma, was 36. She married Franklin Alvin Duckworth in 1919. They had at least two children:
- Palmer Alton (1921–1978)
- Frances Evelyn (1922–1986)
She died on August 15, 1974,[1] in Greenville, South Carolina, at the age of 71, and was buried in Gray Court, South Carolina.[2]
