Biography

Gotthold Friedrich Stäudlin war ein deutscher Dichter der schwäbischen Vorklassik, Publizist und Kanzleiadvokat. Stäudlin entdeckte und förderte unter anderem auch den bekannten Lyriker Friedrich Hölderlin.


Gotthold Friedrich was born in 1758 in Stuttgart. He was the son of Gotthold Stäudlin and Anna Friederike Jäger.[1] He committed suicide in 1796 in Straßburg.
