Benjamin J. Smith married Laura C. Stafford Apr 14, 1856, in Harris Co., Texas. There has been confusion about date of death but this year is from Glenwood Cemetery records. A SMITH descendent and my mother joined together to put the large slab on the SMITH graves in the STAFFORD lot (F129). Where the date 1912 came from cannot be figured out.
