Abraham was born in 1817. He was the son of Robert Stanford. He passed away in 1882.
Abraham was a Rockland TWP patron of the Venanago County History. A plate on page 322 shows his farm. His patron mention says he was born in Pike County, Ohio and came to Venango with his father in 1819. He married Apr 6th 1843. He reared a family of four children. Other patrons were Wm Stanford born 19 Mar 1847 and Rev G. S. Domer, born 31 July 1828 in Blair County PA. The Rev came with his father to Venango County when two years of age. The Rev was serving in the ministry of the Evangelical Association since 1855 and was Preiding Elder in Eastern Ohio.
Abram wrote a will recorded 13 Nov 1882 in Vanango Co. PA. His land is part of the bequests.
