Biography
Rachel Stannard was born on February 13, 1773, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Stannard and Lydia Post. She married Jeremiah Wright on August 10, 1795, in her hometown. They had at least five children during their marriage. She died on April 16, 1842, in Clinton, Connecticut, at the age of 69, and was buried there.
