Sir Robert Staples was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.

Biography

Robert was born on 1 Aug 1840. He died in 1860. He succeeded to the baronetcy (of Lissan and Faghanvale) in his first year of life.

Enrolled at Kilkenny College, 22 Jun 1748, aged 7 years. ^[1]

Sir Robert Staples, 7th Bt, in 1761 married firstly Alicia Staples, daughter of the Rev. Thomas Staples, of Lissan, Co. Tyrone. He married secondly in or before 1771, Mary, widow of Chambre Brabazon Ponsonby, first daughter of Sir William Barker. He married thirdly on 29 Feb 1776, Jane third daughter of John Denny.
