Sylvia Palk Statt was born in 1903. She is the daughter of Daniel Statt and Elizabeth Dawe. She gets her middle name from her paternal grandfather Arthur William Palk Dawe [Dawe-1148] [1]
The family emigrated to Canada first and then the USA before Sylvia was ten years old.
At the time of her marriage to Samuel Moscowitz [Moscowitz-20] when she was 27 on 1 Feb 1930, she was working as a Secretary and living at 1336 Shatto St, Los Angelas, California [2]
