Biography
Harriet (Staveley) Arbuthnot was born in Mauritius.
Harriet was born in 1822. She was the daughter of William Stavely and Sarah Mather.[1]
She married James Edward Arbuthnot in June 1837 in St James Cathedral, Port Louis, Mascarene Island, Mauritius.
They had 11 children.
Her husband died in about 1868.
UK Census Event Date 1871: Recorded in the household of her mother in Paddington, Middlesex, England. Aged 47 and widowed.
She died in 1910.[2]
