John Stavert has Scottish Ancestors.
John Brownell Stavert was born on 15 October 1788 and was baptised on 1 December 1788 at St. Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire[1]. He was the son of George Stavert and Elizabeth Brownell.
His father was a Surgeon of Chapel Street. He died on 13 May 1807 at about age 51.
In the 1816 UK, Poll Books and Electoral Registers (1538-1893), John Brownell Stavert, a broker, was recorded at Great George Street.
On 15 May 1827, it was advertised on page 1 of the Manchester Courier that the Partnership between Richard Benson, Blundell Hollinshead and John Brownell Stavert, Brokers and Commission Agents trading as "Blundell Hollinshead and Stavert", of Liverpool, was dissolved.[2]
John Brownell Stavert passed away on 15 February 1829, probably unmarried, and were buried at St. Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire (but moved on 15 July 1884 to St. John the Evangelist Churchyard, Knotty Ash, Metropolitan Borough of Liverpool, Merseyside, England)[3][4]. PLOT: Section 3, Row G
