Biography

Edgar was born July 30, 1867 in Kalamazoo county, Michigan, USA. He was the son of Newland Steele and Ellen Camfield.

He married Fannie Louise Bartram on August 15, 1899 in Ososso, Shiawassee county, Michigan. He was 25, born Michigan and his parents were Man. Steele and Ellen Camfield. The bride was 26, born Canada and her parents were John Bartram and D. Dalrymple.^[1]

Edgar died on April 23, 1936 in Albion, Calhoun county, Michigan and was buried in Riverside Cemetery in that town.^[2]

Research Notes

Was "G. W." Steele a nickname? That was what was listed on Alfred Nu Steele's birth certificate. A simple mistake maybe?
