Cyrus Stephens was born in 1834 in Bisley, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom, son of Isaac Stephens (1790–1852) and Sarah Witts (1791–1862). [1]
In 1851 Cyrus was one of 3 children and a grandson living with Isaac and Sarah in Bisley. [1]
Cyrus (20) married Mary Ann Wildey (26) (born in 1828 in Rodborough, Gloucestershire) in 1855 in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. Cyrus was a Militia Man, his father Isaac was a Sawyer. Mary's father Benjamin was a labourer. [2]
