Biography

Martha Jane Stephenson was born on December 11, 1865 in Bedford, Bedford, Tennessee, United States, daughter of James Franklin Stephenson (1832–1925) and Louisa Jane Arnold (1836–1920).[1]

In 1880, Martha (age 14) was living in District 18, Bedford, Tennessee, United States. [2]

Martha (19) married Robert R. Pickle (32) (born in March, 1852 in Tennessee, USA; son of John Pickle and Sarah Winton) on January 29, 1885 in Bedford. Their daughter was Sallie Pickle (1891–1950).

In 1900, Martha (age 34) was living in Justice Precinct 3, Lamar, Texas, USA. [3]

In 1910, Martha (age 44) was living in Justice Precinct 2, Delta, Texas. [4]

In 1920, Martha (age 54) was living in Justice Precinct 4, Hopkins, Texas, USA. [5]

Martha died on October 17, 1946 in Hopkins County, TX, aged 80.[6] [7] [8] [1]
