John Thomas Stevenson was born on 6 Feb 1918 in Homebush, Queensland. [1] [2] He was the son of John Stevenson and Ada Alice Lamb. [3]

John Thomas Stevenson served in World War 2 with the Australian Army and attained the rank of Corporal. His service Number was QX13293. He enlisted on 19 July 1940 at Mackay, Queensland. His next of kin was Stevenson, John. When he enlisted he was living at TANNALO. He was released from service on 10 September 1945. When he was discharged his posting was Hq 19 Inf Bde 5 Rfts [2]

He died on 6 Mar 2006 and was buried in the Bundaberg General Cemetery, Bundaberg, Queensland. [1]

I am the granddaughter of the above. He was married to May Edith as his first wife and Neta was his second. He had one child with May and 1 grandchild. The grandchild (me), had 4 children. I can not locate marriage details with May but it was her second marriage. She died on the 7th June, 1970 before I was born. She was born 10 October 1921.
