Elizabeth Stobart, daughter of John Stobart, ^[1] was born on 5 March 1803 in Hexham, Northumberland. ^[1][2] She was baptised on 19 September 1804 in Hexham, Northumberland. ^[1]

On 7 April 1861 in Broad Clist Heath, Broadclist, Devon, with her husband James Whitehead, their daughters Isabel M. T. Whitehead aged 22 and Lucy Whitehead aged 20 and four servants (Ann Coles aged 44, Anne Mitchell aged 32, Maria Fullmore aged 19 and Richard Griffiths aged 26). ^[2]
