Biography

Abner Stone, son of Thomas and Elizabeth (Andrew) Stone, was born on 8 April 1736 at Framingham, Massachusetts.[1]

He married Lucy Mellen, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Mellen, on 7 Dec. 1763 at Hopkinton, Massachusetts.[1]

They had two daughters: Beulah (b. 1767) and Polly (b. 1782).[2]

Abner was a private in Captain Simon Edget's company which marched on the Lexington alarm of 19 April 1775.[3]

Abner died on 3 Dec. 1826 at Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.[1]
