Biography
Margarethe Elisabeth Stradtmann was born at farm no. 9 in Wichmannsburg on 8 August 1809 as daughter of farm holder Johann Joachim Stradtmann and his wife Catharina Dorothea nee Meyer and baptized on 13 August. On 7 November 1835, she married carpenter Jürgen Christoph Sommer of neighbouring farm no. 10 with whom she had at least two children. She died in Wichmannsburg from consumption on 2 March 1842 and was quietly buried on 5 March.[1]
