Biography
Johann Michael Strauss was grandfather of the Austrian composer Johann Strauss the Elder.
He was born in 1720 in Buda (then called "Ofen" in German), Hungary. He married Rosalia Buschin.
He died in 1800 in Vienna, Austria.
