Biography

Alfred was born in 1874. [1] He was the son of William Street and Margaret Black.

He married Muriel Longden in 1916 in Blackboy, Western Australia. [2]

Alfred enlisted in the Australian Imperial Force on 2 May 1916.
He embarked from Fremantle on HMAT Suffolk A23 on the 10 Oct 1916, with reinforcements for the 44th Infantry Battalion, Australian Imperial Force. He was killed in action in Belgium on 10 Jun 1917 and has no known grave. He is commemorated at the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
Alfred Street is an Anzac who served in World War One.
