Biography

SSGT. Ronald H. Strobel was one of a crew of 6 men who were on a mission near Rabaul, Papua, New Guinea. His aircraft was shot down and all members of the crew perished at sea.

Ronald Strobel was the son of Herbert Ernest Strobel and Anna Maren Clausen. He was born in St. Paul, Minnessota, and his siblings included Evelyn Anne Strobel ( m. Sharpe) and Eugene Ernest Strobel.
