Biography

Esther was born in 1878-9 in Luther, Wellington, Ontario, Canada. She is the daughter of William Stubbs and Mary Matilda Parke.^[1] She was the youngest of eight children. Esther was two years old, living with her family on their farm in Ontario in 1881. They were English and their faith was C. Methodist.^[2]

In 1901 Esther was 22 yrs. old, still living at home with her parents and three older siblings.^[3] In 1911 she was 32 yrs. old, living with her father William and three siblings in Wellington, Ontario, Canada. Her mother had passed away. ^[4]

The next year, on 28th March 1912, Esther married 32 yr. old bachelor William Fettes in Presbyterian Church, Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada.^[5]

Esther passed away at 41 yrs. old in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada.^[6][7] Esther was mentioned on a memorial in Chilliwack Cemeteries, Chilliwack, Fraser Valley Regional District, British Columbia, Canada with a death date of 26 Feb 1919.^[8]
