Biography
Halvor was born in 1855. He was the son of Jens Svoldal. Halvor emigrated to the US along with most of his siblings, shortening the Svoldal family name to Dahl. He had three children: Idella/Ida (raised by Peder Dahl), Mary, and Henry. He passed away in 1940.
