Biography
Jasper Collington was born in 1906. He was the son of Henry Swan and Edith O'Callaghan. [1] He married Sheila Lundle McLeod in 1933 [2]
SWAN—McLEOD. On Monday afternoon last, November 6, a pretty wedding of considerable Hawke’s Bay interest took place in Christchurch, both bride and bridegroom being well known in Hastings, when Sheila L. McLeod, daughter of Mr and Mrs George McLeod, of the Union Bank, Christchurch (for some years resident in Hastings), was married to Jasper Collington Swan, son of Mr H. C. Swan and the late Mrs Swan, of Hastings. The ceremony was held at St. Andrew’s Church, Christchurch, the Rev. J. Lawson Robinson officiating- [3]
