Max Markus Tannenbaum was born on 3 Nov 1879 in Mansbach, son of Aron Tannenbaum (1845–>1902) and Hanna Lamm (1851–<1902).[1][2]
Max Markus was a butcher by profession. He and his family lived in Kronach in Friesener Straße 21. He was married to Selma Lamm. They had three children:
Frieda Tannenbaum (Weil) (born 19 May 1909 in Kronach, died 10 Dec 1943 in Auschwitz)
Leo Tannebaum (born 13 May 1913 in Kronach, died in Israel)
Hanna Tannenbaum (Babtschinsky) (born 21 Nov 1920 in Kronach, died 2000 in USA)
On 25 April 1942 Max Markus was deported to Krasnystaw. He died in the Izbica Ghetto.
