Note:
Mrs. John Van Wagoner passed away at her home on First street Saturday morning after a brief illness.
Nora Van Wagoner was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.G. Tanner and was born July 22, 1860 on Sutherland Hill having made Oxford her home her entire life time. She was united in marriage to John Van Wagoner, October 23, 1878 and to this union were born four children, Blanche and Lulu at home, Roy of Flint, and Mrs. Maude Stevens of Royal Oak, besides a step son, Elmer of this place, who survive Mr. Van Wagoner proceeding her just four weeks ago.
Mrs. Van Wagoner when very young in life united with the Baptist church being always a devoted member.
The funeral was held from her late home Monday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. T.D. Denman officiating with burial on the family lot in Oxford Cemetery.
