Biography

Elijah Thatham was born in 1852. ^[1] His mother married John Teal and Elijah must have taken his name.

Isabella Reid married Elijah Teal in the Colony of Victoria in 1874^[2]

He passed away in 1926. ^[3]

TEAL.—On the 14th February, at his residence, Alloa Park, Camperdown, Elijah, beloved hus-band of the late Isabella Campbell Teal, devoted father of Alfred, John (deceased), Alice (Mrs. A. J. Lane, Coleraine), Jean (Mrs. T. R. McMurrick, East Geelong), Thomas (Coleraine), Janet (deceased), Ethel (Mrs. T. D. Lamb, N.S.W.), Edith, William, Robert, Lily, and Queenie (Mrs. A.C. McLeod), aged 73 years.
Sadly missed.^[4]
