"Viola Kempf 04/11/2003 MILAN, Ill. -- Services for Viola Kempf, Milan, will be 10 a.m. Monday at First Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Family Funeral Services, Milan. Mrs. Kempf died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at her home. She was employed 23 years as a machinist at the former International Harvester, Farmall Works, Rock Island. Viola Taylor was born Aug. 28, 1909, in Milan. She married Alfred Kempf in 1926 in Milan. He died in 1966. Memorials may be made to the church. Survivors include a daughter, Marlene Hergert, and son, Al, both of Milan; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and a sister."
