According to a Briggs Genealogy[1], Margaret "Maggie" Taylor, who married William Briggs, was descended from the Wamba-Wamba [also spelt Wemba-Wemba] tribe of Aboriginal people, now called a 'Nation', whose language bears a strong similiarity to that of the Woiwurrung [Wurundjeri] people[2]. Also that Maggie was from Moonahcullah, New South Wales. Moonahcullah is on the Edward River between Deniliquin and Moulamein.
Margaret Taylor married William Briggs in 1891, with the marriage registered in Moulamein, New South Wales. The William Barak Family Tree on Ancestry[3] has at least 19 children from this marriage, whereas reference 1, the Briggs Genealogy has 10. Eric William Briggs is on both.
Maggie Briggs died in 1937, the daughter of Robert and Sarah, with her death registered in Moulamein, New South Wales.
