Biography
Behethelem Taylor was born about 1792, at Frederick County, Maryland. She was a daughter of Charles Philpott Taylor and Willamina Lyons. This information was given by her brother-in-law, Reuben Davis, and recorded by Mr. H.L. Ludlow in a Genealogical Sketch of the Philpott Family, sometime in the late 1800s. The sketch was printed as an addendum in the book Meet Your Ancestors.[1]
Behethelem’s parents were both deceased by January 1806, when Behethelem was only about 14 year old. No further information is known.
