Claude Teece is an Anzac who served in World War Two.
Claude served as a driver in the Middle East, based in Cairo, during the Second World War.[1]
He married Kathleen Margaret Smith in 1943 on his return.[2][3][4]
He was mayor of Motueka from 1983[5] until the Tasman District Council was formed in 1989.
Claude died on 1 July 2022 in Nelson, New Zealand, aged 103.
