Biography

Maria Telgmann was born on December 22, 1861 in Ahaus, Borkener Landkreis, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland.

In 1880, Maria (18) was living in household of Herman Ottens (64) in Point Precinct, Calhoun with her husband, Henry (21); and Herman Ottens (64, father-in-law). ^[1]

Maria (18) married Henry Ottens (21) (born on December 18, 1858 in Point Precinct, Calhoun; son of [father] and [mother]) on April 20, 1880 in Calhoun County, Illinois.^{[2] [3] [4] [5]}

In 1900, Maria (38) was living in St. Louis, Missouri with her children, Annie (19), Mary (17), Herman (15), Lena (11), John (8), Lizzie (5), and Katie (5). ^[6]

In 1910, Maria (48) was living in St Louis Ward 13, St Louis (Independent City) with her children, Annie (29), Mary (27), Herman (25), Helen (21), John (18), Kate (15), and Lizzie (15). ^[7]

Maria died on August 5, 1913 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, aged 51.^[8]
